Ham Lake Lanes Volleyball League Rules

1. Completed rosters must be turned in before teams may play. Any team protesting a rostermust check theirs first. Additions to rosters must be made before play begins.

2. A forfeit is called when there is less than four players or there is not a team fielded 10 minutes after scheduled start time.

3. Serving order and rotation must be consistent.

4. Any player(s) touching the net is an automatic side out. No attacking balls on the opponent side.

5. No obvious double hits or carries. Two hands must be together upon receiving the serve, unless a fist is used for one-handed receives.

6. Substitutions are allowed during a game (all players must be registered). Subs are not allowed to disrupt play.

7. Games are to 15 points and you must win by 2. The first team to 17 points wins, even if by only one point.

8. Sets are best of 3 games. All 3 games must be played.

9. No unsportsmanlike conduct is allowed at any time.

10. Lines are considered in.

11. Please remember this is a FUN league.

6 Person Coed Rules

1. Line ups must be made up of at least 6 people, must have at least 3 women on the court.

2. When the ball is played by more than 1 players on a side, one must be by a woman.

3. No back row spiking allowed. Persons coming up from the back row may block only. A player may not attack a serve.

4. A team must field at least 4 people to be consisdered legal. (2 women, 2 men)

5. A team fielding 5 players may have 3 men & 2 women.
